CHAPTER 24

"What place is that?" I asked with a frown.

"A good place"

"I don't just want any place Martha. I want a safe space. Where nobody can find me"

I had no idea where I was taken last time. I was grateful to Amaris for taking me away but I didn't want to go there this time.

My memory from that night was hazy and I only remember seeing Amaris. Martha claimed she was there too but Amaris insisted she was the only one.

I don't know who was lying but what reason did either of them have to lie. Anyways, chances that I would be found in that place were high. I didn't want to risk it.

My heat would be stronger this time, and it would take away my common sense. I need to be properly hidden away so that I wouldn't be easily found by anybody until my heat was over.
