~Lana~
“Mother, you are not a werewolf,” Lana remarked. A soft giggle escaped her lips after having witnessed Arabella sniff her son profoundly.
Arabella laughed and then, she pushed back a strand of Kai’s hair behind his ear. She faintly replied, “It’s exactly because I am not a werewolf that I am putting greater efforts into smelling my own grandson.”
It was much later when they arrived at the Valmore home. Valencia had to give Arabella more healing potions, in order to get her strength back. Lana’s father also had a shot of the great healer’s magic.
After getting a new pair of clothes and a good bath, Lana led her mother to Kai’s room. It was in his bedroom where Arabella marveled at her grandson.
“He is so handsome. I love his name too. Seven right?” Arabella asked, her frame resting beside Kai. "I love you, Kai."
“Yes, mother,” Lana replied.
“He is just the same age when.” Lana could feel her mother
Thank you for reading! if you have not left a review yet, please send me some love. The next chapter will be tomorrow morning, Singapore time. What do you think of Gunner's decision?
~Alric~ His black and enormous wolf growled at the three wolfmen that had arrived at the borders of the Dust Mountain Pack, his Beta Dean, and his new pack warriors stood behind him, also in their beast forms. The visiting werewolves brought Alric a message from Morfran. “Our Alpha said, if you do not return Arabella and Gunner to the Hidden Mist Valley, we will attack the Port of Valmore! We will make slaves of your wives and whores out of them!” Said the wolf, who had earlier introduced himself as Blaze, Morfran’s Beta. Alric became irked to the depths of his bones, his nostrils flared and his fangs dug against the soil. His eyes narrowed, and he felt all of his hair stand in anger. He announced, “Morfran can attack the Port of Valmore and court death! We will be waiting for him!" He snarled loudly and announced, “Also send a message to Morfran!” While the werewolves from the Hidden Mist Valley Pack awaited the statement, Alric l
~Lana~ Racing in her red-brown wolf, Lana leaped three meters away from the finish line, landing first amongst the female werewolves. After catching her breath, she slowed down in her tracks and turned to look at the warriors behind her. She inwardly smirked, seeing Geneva’s cream-coated wolf still rushing to catch up with her. In her human form, Geneva may be a better fighter, but in their wolf forms, Lana was definitely faster, bigger, and stronger. “A very deserving Luna of our pack!” Elenor was the first to cheer for Lana, and the rest of the audience echoed their support. From time to time, the pack would hold a race. The wolfmen’s competition was usually held separately from the females and that day, the she-wolves went around the borders of the port of Valmore. They all followed a specific trail, from plains to rocky cliffs, until arriving at the town proper and entering the grand arena. Moments later, after all the particip
~Lana~ Lana found herself staring blankly at the ports, two blocks away from Alric’s office. She breathed in the sea breeze that hit her face and she folded her arms against her, trying to contain her anger. Her eyes wandered to the busy canal that went through a fraction of the Port of Valmore and allowed its beauty to ease her chest. She sat on the bench, marveling at how very little of the province opened up to the sea, yet it greatly contributed to the booming business of the Valmore Group of Companies. In fact, the trade was the heart of Alric's business. “I always knew you were this pathetic, Lana! Did you really spy on me and your husband? That goes without saying, you must be having a dull life in bed these past few days.” Lana turned behind her, only to find Geneva mocking through her words. Lana rolled her eyes and countered, “I don’t know what you're talking about -” Geneva laughed hysterically before she suggested
~Morfran~ “Are you working on it? We need more of that potion so we can continue to be undiscovered,” Morfran demanded, his eyes never leaving Sabrina, his witch. She was walking around him and his men, producing mists from a liquid potion she had copied from the same mixture Geneva provided. It was made with a scent, only familiar within the lands of the Port of Valmore, and so far, it was working well for them. None of the allied packs were able to detect his group. Their numbers never reduced, despite having walked around the borders of the Blue Moon Pack. Morfran could already see it. He would be able to take his Arabella back, and not only that! He could take Gunner and his daughter too, make slaves out of them and a whore out of Lana. But prior to leaving that day, he swore to wreak havoc in the lands of the Port of Valmore, and what better way to do it than to destroy the Valmore ancestral home? He swore to not only bu
~Alric~ Two days had passed since the attack at the Port of Valmore. After the pack warriors had cleaned up the plains behind the Valmore home, Alric immediately called for a meeting. He invited all prominent families, several high-ranking warriors, and all his trusted men, his Beta, Dean, and all his Gammas. Reeth’s rebel group was also invited, and they all gathered within the Grand Arena of the Port of Valmore. In all his glory, Alric stood in the center of the ring with his Luna. His intimidating eyes scanned nearly every seat around them. Only after imposing his dominance did he announce, “It is no secret that two days ago, we were invaded. There was a breach in our territory that led to the attack by Morfran and his men. Today is to discuss who is responsible for it and what is the rightful punishment.” Alric and Lana looked at each other before questions arose from the crowd, following the Alpha's hint. “You mean one of our own caused thi
~Max~ “Max, are you sure?” Lana asked again, trying to assess his resolution. “I am very angry at Geneva right now, and while I feel I have every reason to bite off her head -” “I need this. I need to be the one to do this. Not Alric, not you, and not anyone else,” Max interrupted Lana. He peered in the direction of Geneva, who was frantically pushing away the warriors that held her arms. He sucked in a breath and explained, “At her very last breath, Geneva needs to realize her mistakes. She needs to know the severity of her sins, so much that the very person whom she expected to stand by her would be the same to cut off her head." With another sigh, he added, “Would I regret it? I might hate myself for some time, but my loyalty remains with Alric. He is my Alpha. In a heartbeat, I will always choose Alric over Geneva. And now that you are his Luna, I will choose you over her on any given day." “So let me do it, Lana,” Max added. “Let me
~Lana~ “Alric, I’ve always wondered, how do you get your people to be so loyal to you? Granted, there are a few that lost their way, but I am amazed at how Max is able to keep it together, despite his feelings for Geneva and then there is Dean,” Lana asked as they were ready to go to bed. “Hmmm.” Alric climbed up the bed, exhausted after a long day. He yawned as he lay on the sheets. He lazily replied, “Max’s father abused him when we were kids, but he loved his father. He did not want my father to know. He did not want his father to be punished.” “He was a drunk. Once a week, he would come home, completely wasted, and that’s when he would end up beating Max. We were just twelve back then. We were only kids.” “I wanted to tell my father, but Max pleaded that I don’t. I figured, compared to him, I already had my wolf. I could heal faster. One night, I tricked Max into spending the night here, at home. I took his place, merely wearing his hoody, a
~Lana~ Now that Morfran was out of the way, and the Valmore Blood Pack has duly accepted Lana as their Luna, she put her energy into getting pregnant. It was timely upon their return from the Hidden Mist Valley that Lana was in heat, and while Alric did not need seduction, she did as her mother suggested and gave her husband a good tease. Besides, she was up for it. Being in heat, she gave off the scent of wanting to have sex. While the Alpha’s Luna was in heat, however, Alric still had duties to the company and that was when Lana gave him the best sexual provocation, applying the art of seduction. On day one, during lunch, Lana purposely went to visit Alric at his office. Dean had ordered lunch for them and she brought fruits with her. The second she entered the CEO's office door, Alric had already taken a big whiff. He smirked at his wife and Lana knew he recognized how she was in heat. He greeted, “Good afternoon, m
