Emily's father had wished for her to be brought up like an Alpha should. He had hoped, before be died, that she would some day become one of the greatest Alphas to ever exist, but what wasn't in his plans was that she would not find her way home until it was a bit too late.

She was raised with humans because that was what she chose. It may have been unconsciously but she chose it, and kept herself hidden from anything to do with the supernatural because she was scared.
