Gianna's Threat

Giving Mathew a stiff smile, Alpha Marcus raises his hand for Mathew to shake. But it's not just a normal handshake; both men look as though their intention is to break the other's hand. And neither of them is willing to break away from the punishing handshake, for it kind of feels like he would be defeated.

Gianna, ever so beautiful and grateful, speaks from the door. She has been standing at the door for some time and both Mathew and the Alpha were aware of the moment she got in but too busy to acknowledge her presence.
