20. Manipulate

A day had already passed and Ashely was anxiously roaming around in her room.

She knew that a huge storm was coming and she had to be prepared for that.

But what she was worried about the most was Ava and the pack elders.

These two were her two hurdles.

If these two found out that she had rejected to help the council and the needy then they were surely going to get very mad and might even send a message on their own agreeing to help them.

Ashley is still not that acting leader. It is her mother and the elders, and they can send the troops and warriors.

And Ashley was not going to let that happen, she was not going to let a single member of her pack die for the council.

If the elders and her mother went against her then she would have no choice but to use her power over them and suppress them and take over the pack by force.
