“Guess what mom, I had a mate and he rejected me. You don't even know anything about me. How dare you try to pin your fault on Becca who had done nothing but love me. Please leave mom.” Collins stood up to his mom for the first time. I had never seen him that angry, sober, and scared.

He bent behind me and wrapped his hand around my shoulder.

“No, you shouldn't be comforting me. We should find a way to help you stay alive.” I wiped my face quickly and tried to stand up when Collins suddenly broke down. He sat at the arm of the chair and held his belly.

“Collins!” I shouted and turned to him, blood began to drip from his mouth while his skin started to turn ash. Like the ashes of wood after burning.

“Collins?” I called again, scared to walk closer to him. He smiled and held his belly, he rested his head against the chair. Behind him was Reid who placed his hand behind his back so he wouldn't fall.
