Ninety - Six

BECCA:

Opening my eyes, I found myself sleeping on a makeshift bed. The sky was dark and the birds were chirping. The night was cold too and I am grateful to whoever had dressed me up for the weather.

I sat up, looking around, and then I saw a fire in the middle of where I slept which I guessed kept me warm.

I wondered where I was. Where is Alexander?

What happened to me? I remembered I was freezing almost to death previously and now I was in the wilderness.

Wait, why am I in the wilderness?!

Sighing, I wanted to put my leg on the floor when I heard the ruffling of grass against the feet meaning someone was coming.

The scent hit me and I turned my head to who was coming. She wore a jean and a purple sweater and then a scarf was wrapped around her neck.

“Mom?” I called and then she turned to me.

“Finally, you are awake. You will be the one hunting for animals now.” She smirked and they showed me the leopard she had killed. Aww, the poor animal.

“You hate hunting,” I told
