Arabella's POV

I was taken aback by Ava's presence in my room, but I quickly composed myself and closed the door behind me. "Ava, what are you doing here? Is something wrong?" I asked, concerned and shocked.

"Looks like you and Asher had quite a night," she teased and I smiled in embarrassment, still trying to think of what she was here for.

"Yeah…" I answered, still staring at her. "Is something wrong?"

Ava looked at me with a serious expression on her face. "No, nothing is wrong, but there's something I need to discuss with you," she replied, patting the spot beside her on the bed, and inviting me to sit down.

Curious and slightly apprehensive, I took a seat next to her. "Alright, go ahead. What is it that you want to talk about?"

She took a deep breath before continuing, "It's about your role as the future Luna, Arabella. With everything that's been happening, I think it's time we have a serious conversation about your responsibilities and what lies ahead for you as Asher's mate."
