Chapter 60

Arabella’s POV

I opened my eyelids to see my bedroom’s ceiling. My head moved slowly from my sides as I tried to get used to the darkness. My room was dark, and cold, and felt a little moist. The windows were open so I could feel the cool breeze intrude from time to time. I had laid there for minutes. I didn’t know what I was waiting for but then, I was still waiting for it when I heard it.

A snort and then a snore. I quickly looked to my side. Laying beside me, on a bed that was separate from mine was Alpha Asher.

I fully turned to my side to see him. He had his hand on his chest and was lying face up. He looked peaceful in his sleep. He turned a little and exhaled.
