Despite the fact that the police and Madeline had assured them that the current situation was safe and that the rogues had left, Oscar wouldn't be able to relax if Era was far away from him. He would surely feel restless every time Era was out of his sight. So, it was not surprising that he would do anything to be with Era all the time.

However, it seemed that Oscar had to suppress his heart's desire for a moment. The factory fire was not a trivial matter that could be ignored. The incident was related to the financial sustainability of the pack. He was fully responsible for the ongoing problem, and even though he realized that Era was his top priority, it did not mean that he could put everything else aside.

So, Oscar took several deep breaths. He tried to calm down, but it was in vain. The fear only increased.
