Arnold's Loyalty

***Alpha Xavier's POV***

Just as I was about to join them to cast the spell, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my heart, which made me stagger backwards.

“Argh!” I heard someone scream, to my shock, it was Arnold. He held on to his chest just like I did.

“Arnold, Xavier, what's going on. Why do you both feel the same pain at once?” Emilia asked, confused.

“I have no idea, Emilia.”

They probably do not know since we are of different tribes, but I know very well what this means.

“We need to hurry with whatever spell week is about to carry out. Melissa is in danger. She must have been hurt,” I said in panic.

I sat next to Arnold. At this point, I can't afford to hold whatever grudge I have against since we both have one common goal, and that is to find Melissa as soon as possible.
