I head home so I can pack an overnight bag and make arrangements with Sylvie to pack up the rest of my stuff and have it sent to Alpha Zane’s. Sylvie is the Omega who raised me after my mom and sister died, and she hates my father, so I know she won’t say anything.
After I tell Sylvie what I need her to do, she smiles and agrees in her heavy Spanish accent. “My sweet boy, I will take care of this myself. Don’t you worry. I don’t want details. The less I know the better.”
