“Or is it reincarnation?” he asked with a smile.

My mind goes blank and my face pales as I try to find the words to deny his claim.

“You believe in reincarnation?” An insulting smile plastered on my lips. “What a half-wit you are.”

His face darkened at my words. He gripped my arm and glared at me.

“Careful with your words, skank. Just cause I showed you a little bit of interest doesn’t mean you can disrespect me,” he seethed.

I can feel his anger and dominance in my bones, but I’m too old to get scared. If anything, I want to beat him up.

I inch my face closer to him and my eyes widening as I state, “I don’t need your interest. I don’t give the slightest fuck about who you are. I never asked for your attention and I owe you no shit for it.”
