15.Years of Change
Monica sat in the garden with Destiny. She was playing with her toys on the table as they waited for Crystal to finish her meeting. Monica had been Destiny's guardian for three years now and she did it with pride and honor. Destiny sat there and heard Crystal approach. She jumped down and ran to her mother.
"Mommy!"
"Destiny!"
"Luna, how was your meeting?"
"Eventful. Plans to create and work through a universal peace treaty looks good. The Luna's are on board. I just hope all the alphas are too."
"I'm sure they will be, Luna. If other Luna's are anything like you, they will be on board."
"Thank you, Monica. We are meeting Killian for lunch so if you'd like to take time to get some rest or do something for you, you are more than welcome to."
"Thank you, Luna."
Crystal smiled and took Destiny by the hand. They walked into town and met Killian at the cafe. Destiny ran right up to him when she saw him.
