I didn't know why seeing him take his drink like that, made me feel weird as if he wasn't meant to take it.

"Alpha Dimitri?" I called him, and he dropped the cup on the tray before turning to face me. "How was the drink?" I asked, my eyes settling on the maid, who was still standing there, staring at Dimitri.

I eyed her suspiciously, "you can leave now." When I said that to her, she slowly nodded before walking away. I didn't know why she was acting weird, so many things were so wrong with the way they were all going.

"I don't know why I feel like something is wrong. Don't you feel like there's something happening? Something we are not aware of? I don't know, alpha." My face slowly squeezed into a frown, as my eyes darted around everywhere.
