Maxwell stared at me for a while. His eyes kept quivering in fear but I didn’t make a move. I had to test how strong his instinct was.

Seeing I wasn't moving he squinted his eyes and still shaky he picked up a rock and a wood from the tide. He threw the rock at me but I didn’t quiver.

I kept watching him and after a while he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Dad," He said. He frowned then stood up on his feet as he approached me still holding the wood out to defend himself.

Seeing still held my position he put the wood down then reached his hand to my hairy fur. He brushed gently then looked Into my eyes.

Watching his reaction I recalled the last time I saw this and it was exactly the way Alicia related when she first saw me as a werewolf. Maxwell doesn’t only look like her but he also acts like her.

"Dad," He said as if he was still confused and just then I ran off heading into the woods. I shape-shifted into a werewolf then walked back out of the woods.
