What is she hiding from me? What is so difficult that she won't tell me? I thought to myself. I left her in the house but I had one person in mind, he was the only Vampire who I knew was close to her.

"Silas," I whispered the name of my suspect with my eyes fixed on the road. It never mattered if the cab driver knew how upset I was or not.

Why now, why will he tempt me now that I am close to asking him for a favour? I thought, frowning my face in anger.

Some minutes later the cab driver pulled over in a large field. It was the same field where I was seated the night Silas gave me the bracelet. I came out of the taxi and after paying for the ride I looked ahead and from the distance I spotted him seated on a bench with his gaze at some youths who were playing football.

"Silas!" I exclaimed while approaching as he turned to me. "Didn't I warn you never to come close to hear again," I said, throwing a punch to his face.
