CHAPTER 14

Nathan was leaving the meeting room with all his employees; they were in the last meeting of the day. Liam hadn't arrived and hadn't returned any of his calls either. That was worrying him because the bond he had with Booke was somewhat weakened by their estrangement, but that day he was feeling it even weaker than before.

One of his secretaries came out of the elevator and rushed in with a first aid kit. He was not understanding anything that was going on in that office, even though it was his own.

-Nathan, I mean, sir," Liam placed a hand on his back, "you need to come with me.

-What's going on? Where's my wife?

She's in your office... She's had a fainting spell because of ill-intended words. -He opened the door to Nathan's office. Please come out," he asked politely.
