59: Drop the dagger

Percival had just changed into his knight amour and was about to step outside when his eyes fell on the empty tray of food he had just consumed.

A thought formed in his head. Maybe he could see Kalista before he began his night shift. He wanted her to get used to his presence around her.

Also, though he tried to deny it, he also wanted to make sure she was in her room. He still had his suspicions about her and he felt she was connected to the beast somehow.

Maybe it was all in his head. But it wouldn't hurt to be sure.

He grabbed his sword and stepped outside the room.

On his way to the inn, he met the other knights and he issued out orders to each of them, reminding them of the perimeters they were to guard.

As the other knights hurried off to stand guard in their respective spots, Percival continued towards the inn.
