The trip to Northgen hill began a day later, Livey mounted her horse and so did Newton.

Lord Thane was with them to bid his goodbye, he held Livey’s hand with affection and worry in his eyes, “Be safe” he cautioned and she nodded to do just that.

After four hours of riding, Livey decided that they should rest just by a lake while the horses drank some water to sustain them.
