Eighty-one: Xander

I could see pure guilt in each move Ayla made. The unbearable remorse that filled her soul. I spoke with the girls and they told me that she had been oddly keeping her distance; I wasn't fond of this. This wasn't a good indicator. Jorah informed me that she had been training hard with him, pushing herself until there was no breath left in her. I wasn’t sure what she was trying to prove to herself, but I could tell that mentally, she was okay. She was burying herself in work and training, not giving herself the chance to rest.

I didn't expect her to allow me to sit with her on the roof, but luckily she agreed. Her words held so much worry that I didn't want her to shoulder. I didn't give a damn if more problems arose when she joined us. She was my mate and I wanted her as she was. I wanted her with her happy moments, sad moments, gifts, and problems. I wanted her as a whole and I desired no other female but her.

She had to understand that she was a part of our fam

If I was in her shoes after she’s passed out I would make her wake up and finish the lashings what she did to her sister is uncalled for and heartless she deserves her punishment
