Forty-nine

I pushed myself towards them and for a moment, I thought I forgot how to talk. I thought that after four years, I would feel nothing if I met any of them, especially him, but I was so wrong.

“I thought… I thought I told you I don’t want to be found.” I loathed how weak my voice was when I spoke to Jorah.

I looked at Rowena and gulped, taking a look at the little girl in her arms. “Are you a mother now?” I asked in a low voice.
