"Well, I have a mate to tend to," I said while walking out of the room.

I hear four frantic sets of footsteps running after me. All of their heartbeats are out of control. I smirk as I glide up the stairs straight to their room quietly, and they make a ruckus following. Vampires are indeed the quieter species of the two. Wolves just carry themselves so heavily, like they want everyone to hear them coming. Once I get to the door, I stop and turn around, crossing my arms, and they all slide to a stop, running into each other.

"Don’t interfere. I can assure you it won’t be pretty if you do." I say this in a firm tone, and they all nod.

I open the door to the room quietly, and her cry hits me in full force immediately, making my mind fuzzy.
