I have spent the last week searching for Kain. He is nearly impossible to be found even if he wants to be let alone if he doesn’t. All I can do is hope he isn’t hiding. I didn’t see much of what transpired between Justin and Kain because he cut me off early so I’m unsure of Kain’s intentions with my blood mate. We are gathered in the office but I sit drowning out their talk about war that is falling upon us from our actions. Instead, I focus on Kain his looks his scent everything about him. I search the world but my mind grows fuzzy momentarily and an ache forms in my chest. I try to ignore it and continue searching but a nagging continues to bug me. An inhuman hiss of frustration spews from me just as I am pulled into a dark void. Panic fills me and I feel my body react to it but can't taste its tang in my mouth and know it's not my own.

‘What has happened to this poor girl?’ Thoughts fly past me not of my own.
