I held the letter that my mom gave me and placed it back in the envelope. I wiped my eyes dry and decided that I didn’t want to waste any more tears. I don’t want to prolong this anymore. I looked around my room with a determined look on my face and fetched a worn-out backpack from the back of my closet. I stuffed as many clothes that I could in the big backpack, making sure that my mom’s clothes were included.

I pulled out my phone and typed in the location that was written on the letter.

“#1614, Brittia Street, Kvenland Village”

It was 16 hours away if I traveled by train. I can make it there tomorrow evening if I move now. I pulled out my piggy bank and the birthday gifts I received from the pack elders. I counted the money. Hmm, this should be enough for a 2-day trip.

Wow just wow! You run after kairo even though he told you to get lost countless of time and sure you don’t feel comfortable with talking to your dad but this conversation just peeved me off. This book is getting me worked up like anything lol it’s a good book
