SEEING HER UP ON THAT STAGE, affected me more than I thought it would. As Alpha, it was my duty to be there for our students who graduated. They went through a really tough time during high school. They didn’t shift in front of humans, and our secret was safe.

She looked so damn sweet and innocent in her pink dress that my pants were pulling tightly and it was making it difficult to focus on anything else. I took only a moment to congratulate the three wolves before finding her in the crowd. Before I could help myself, I made my way through the crowd and slipped my arm around her waist. She noticed me while she was making her speech, and it almost seemed as though she was trying to get away from me right now. Her eyes filled with shock as I pulled her a little closer.
