(Theia’s POV)

I couldn’t help but look around the room as the man spoke. I didn’t know if my hopes were to see disgust in peoples faces or even a chance that someone was going to help me get away. Either way, I was disappointed on both counts. Some of the people, mostly men, were leering at me, with what looked like raw hunger in their eyes. Some of them were sitting watching the smarmy man as he performed, sprouting some speech about how he always delivers the best quality product and his name as The Salesman was the assurance in itself. I had suspected that the person behind my kidnapping was The Salesman, but now I had confirmation. It was still bugging me that I felt like I had seen this man before, but there was no place in my life that I could imagine myself coming in contact with a man that sold thi9ngs on a supernatural black market.
