(Theia’s POV)The room became a hub of activity as Dominic, Alex and a few of the high-ranking warriors began pouring over maps of the territory and mind linking with warriors on the ground. “Alpha,” one of the warriors called, and Dominic looked up, “They are swarming the south-west woods. We can’t get numbers. There seem to be over a hundred at least.” “That’s the residential area,” Leah said and Dominic growled.“I know where it is,” he snapped, his Alpha tone leaking out. (Theia’s POV)I shrunk back from the door, and Liam just laughed at my response. He turned his attention towards Logan, and I could see Logan tense up from behind him. I couldn’t see his face, but I knew that he was holding a brave face. (Theia’s POV)I paled at the voice and looked down at Logan in fear. He growled slightly at the voice, but then turned and pushed me gently towards the tunnel. I headed into the tunnels and was immediately blanketed in darkness. But I tried my best to feel along the walls and shuffle my feet along the floor. I could feel Logan right behind me, and part of me was glad that he could fit inside the tunnel in his new wolf form. I made my way through the tunnel too slow for my liking and was starting to panic, worried that there wasn’t another end. What if it had been closed up at the other end, like a cave in or something? What if I was going to get trapped in her forever? I knew that my thoughts were irrational, but that didn’t stop them plaguing me and heightening my fear. (Theia’s POV)After Dominic and I finally completed the mate bond, I felt like something important was slotting into place. Maybe this puzzle piece wasn’t so bad. Dominic had arranged the whole evening. He was just waiting for me to suggest going for a run, and then had Leah and other pack members set up the clearing for us. It was absolutely perfect. Which I found worrying that Dominic knew me so well that he knew what I thought perfect was. I guess in part; I wasn’t used to being part of something like this, to actually being wanted, or being part of a family. It would take some getting used to, for sure.We didn’t want to wait too long for the Luna ceremony. We hoped that having something to celebrate would help the pack recover from the attack. Although Logan had already started talking with Alex about some ideas he had for the warriors. Thank you for keeping with me as I finished this book. There have been a lot of changes since the start. Both in the series and my writing plans, and also in my personal life.One of the changes is that I have decided to combine some series. As you saw Dominic's and Theia's story continues in book 4 of The Dark Essence World. The dark Essence World is a full world based around five couples that entwine heavily in each others lives. The Alpha's Human Seer Chapter 1
(Dominic’s POV)I was sitting at the large dark wood table in the Conclave meeting, not really paying attention. I hated these meetings. I had a pack and a business to run. I didn’t want to be wasting what precious time I had being stuck in one of these stupid meetings where Garrett Blackthorn, the Alchemist Guild Master and Master of the Supernatural Conclave, lorded over everyone and commanded us all to kneel before him. Well, maybe that was a bit dramatic, but I bet he would try if he thought he could get away with it.The room was full of supernaturals, around twenty of us in total. There were at least two vampire clan leaders in here, one coven priestess for the witches, and a master sorcerer. I think I even spotted a few different faeries as well.
