It was early morning, and the fortress appeared peaceful. They did not kill any creatures last night during the full moon, which delighted Lucas.

He strolled beside Max as they discussed what had occurred during the full moon, with Aden and Bryan trailing behind them.

They were on their way to the council meeting and the elders of the pack were waiting for them.

Because Aden and Bryan were not permitted to attend the caucus meeting, they were required to wait for Lucas in the hallway.
