*****Gina's POV*****I shut my eyes as I shut the box. Just then, the lights shone and the cave began to vibrate. I shut my eyes the whole time until I could get nothing. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed everything had gone back to the way it was before. “Goodness, Gina. What was that all about?” I instantly turned around to Anna, who had woken up. It seemed like she did not take notice of what had happened earlier. I began to wonder if that was actually possible. Did everything I experienced for real? No, I shook my head. I need to stop thinking about what the Witch had said. As far as I was concerned, there was no such thing. How could someone I don't even know appear from nowhere and tell me about what happened a thousand years ago? Something I don't even remember. The only thing I need to do now is find the killers of my parents. I'm not concerned about the first witch. I'm sure all these were as a result of my imagination. “Gina, are you okay? What happened to the box?” Ann
*****Gina's POV*****I ran as fast as my legs could take me, while breathing heavily. I can't believe that we've been attacked again. Why do we keep getting attacked? “Luna, please save me!” I heard the sharp cries of Patricia, which made me turn around. What's going on? Why can't I find Cain? The battle was bloody, and I could hardly use my powers because I had suddenly become weak. “Patricia!” I called out while looking around. I could only hear her voice, but couldn't see her face. What's going on?”I ran back to where I came from, and then I saw Patricia. The masked soldier held her by the collar, with his claws evident. I could tell he was about to plunge his claws into her neck. “Luna, please save me, he's going to kill me!”“No!” I shook my head and began running towards her. “Leave her alone! You must not kill her.” I yelled at the masked man, but for some reason, it seemed like the mask was smirking at me. And the next thing I knew, he plunged his claws into her neck, and
******Witch Zelda's POV****I was in my cave waiting for Alpha Dexter to make his decision. He's a greedy Alpha, and I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to come to me again. I had known just how useful he would be if I were to use him to get what I wanted. I keep having the feeling that I might actually get the chance of meeting that evil witch again. But I cannot let her reincarnate. Even though her seed is in this world, I will make sure I eradicate them. The Mirror Moon pack has owed me since its existence, I cannot let anyone from that pack get what I want. # Flashback ## A thousand years agoI stood in front of the crowd with my friend Gina. One of us will be chosen as the scarlet witch to lead our people. Among all the girls selected in our time, Gina and I were the only ones who survived the tests to the grand final. Now that we are the only ones left, the moon goddess is going to bestow her powers on one of us to prepare the great Mirror Moon pack to fight in the great war. I w
*****Alpha Dexter****I waited patiently in my secret meeting room in the middle of the night, waiting for witch Zelda. Though I still don't know who the witch was, all I know is that she's genuinely interested in the mirror moon pack and the scarlet witch. I hope she will be able to help me again like she did the first time. Just then, I felt a sudden chill and a strategic wind blow. She must be here. I quickly turned around to face the door. It was like this the last time I saw her, too. She always came with the wind and caused her environment to become freezing. Makes me wonder what kind of witch she was because her aura was always cold. While I was still thinking about her, a shadow suddenly stood in front of the door, blocking the rays of the moon from penetrating the secret meeting room since it was dark. I, personally, do not like extremely dark areas. But I remembered that the witch had told me before now about her hate for light. I still can't understand why she's so myster
*****Gina's POV****Thanks to Patricia, I was taken to the infirmary. While I laid on the bed with a fast beating heart, pack doctor Ariana examined me. It was just me, Pat and her. “Tell me the truth, doctor. Have I lost my baby?” I asked desperately. “Owing to the way you bled and since the pregnancy is still early, there's a high chance you might have lost it,” the pack doctor explained. My heart sunk at that very instant. “No, no, please. This can't be happening to me now,” I shook my head as tears trickled down my eyes. “Luna, I hadn't checked, though what I had just explained is a likely situation. However, we can never be too sure. For this reason, I need to check if what I said was actually true or just a scare.”At that moment, I didn't even know what to feel anymore. All I could think of was my pregnancy.”“Allow me to check and see exactly what's happening. And for me to do that, you need to keep yourself free from worry. Can you do that, Luna?” I nodded my head and t
****Gina's POV****For some reason, I found myself in the cave I had left. Why am I here again? Is this a dream or an illusion? What's going on? I tried to stop myself from moving forward, but I found myself moving forward. It was as if I didn't have control over my legs. They seemed to be walking ahead on their accord. Just then I heard a sharp voice calling me ahead. “Gina, come to me. You must come to me.”“Who's there? Show yourself!” I yelled. “Why don't you come in, so you can see me? I am behind you. Come to me, Gina, I'm waiting patiently for you.”Why does that voice sound familiar? Who could that be?I kept moving forward until I got in front of the gates leading into the cave. If it were before, I would have to activate the gate to be able to go in, but this time, the gates opened on their accord. I walked in even though I didn't want to. “Where are you?” I called out.“The black box.”“What? Is it you again?”“Gina, come close, I need to tell you something important. We
*****Gina's POV*****After my explanations to Anna. She stared at me with a horrified gaze. “Oh no, oh, no, no. Luna, do you think this was because of what I said?”“I don't know. I hope not. But I think it is. This is just so frustrating.”“This is too much to digest. Talking about the other witch in your dream, sure you haven't seen her before?”I shook my head. “I hardly ever forget someone I've seen before. I don't know the witch, just as I've not laid eyes on the man who I saw behind the mask before. There are just so many mysteries behind my parent's death that I must find answers to.”“Luna, to be honest, I think there are just so many mysteries about your parents' death that have to be unraveled. I mean, what if the witch who you say looks like you was true about what she said? Don't you think it's going to get complicated.”“Come on, Anna. Don't tell me you believe what that witch had said. I don't believe a word she said, you know.”“I know it all sounds crazy. But what do
*****Diane's POV****Having discussed with Alpha Dexter, I can assure myself of a good sleep. Ever since I left the pack, I cannot say I had a good sleep. I kept thinking about Gina taking my place in Alpha Cain's life. This must come to an end. And I'm so glad that at last there's something who's willing to help me take my revenge. The fact that she's a powerful witch makes it all the more better. I'm confident that Gina is not as powerful as she thinks. If this witch is indeed as powerful as Alpha Dexter had initially said, then I think this is my best opportunity to get everything back from her, including her powers. I will make sure I get the powers away from her, so she will never get to use them again. What am I even saying? The moment she dies, there's no way she would be able to make use of the powers anyway. “And what did you discuss with Alpha Dexter this time?” I jolted backwards instantly. “Mom! You scared the shit out of me, you know.”“How come you weren't on alert w
