I found myself in the middle of overgrown bushes and when I turned to look behind me, brambles had already covered the secret door to the underground passage, making it invisible to the naked eye. Despite the thick foliage that we were standing in, none of the leaves and flowers grazed our skins, making me think that perhaps the vegetation is conjured by magic. A simple but effective cover against intruders or prying eyes.
"Where are we?" Jughead's voice sounded in awe as if we had stumbled into Narnia, after entering a broom closet at the beach house. The reality is, we're probably somewhere nearby.
