Alpha Alexis POV

My demons had come alive in my head, tossing and pushing me around as if I were a slave to them.

As if my opinion didn't matter.

But I couldn't do anything about it.

The demon on the left was always angry with me. He wouldn’t leave me alone. Every time he came back from a trip he would yell at me. And all because of what I told him when we first met. He thought that I lied about his name or something.

Did it make any sense to you? Do you understand what I am saying?

I can’t explain everything I feel. It isn’t like I see things differently or know better than you or some other person. You don’t know what I saw. What I heard. How things have changed since then. What I think now.

They said everyone has demons, but I don’t believe it. No one’s got demons like I do. They just say it that way. Because they want us to be like them. The ones who live inside their heads. They tell us to do whatever they say and then blame us for it later.

I hated it!
