"What the hell was that?" I barked at Richard as they shut the door. "You promised to apologize."

"I know, but I couldn't just bring myself to do that." My eyebrows shot up in an unimpressed look.

"Really, is that the excuse you could come with?"

"I tried; I actually did, but it was heavy on my tongue. I am an Alpha. I don't apologize, so it is difficult." I narrowed my eyes at his lame excuse.

"You had better start learning how to apologize and find a way to fix this situation, or else you may end up losing your sister." He groaned, dragging his hands through his hair.

"I will." I decided to let the matter rest.
