Dante's POV After Rashaad and Akira arrived for their afternoon shifts, we talked briefly about what happened with the rogues. Dad and a few of the elders volunteered to run patrol tonight so we could all have the night off, but they still needed to be on high alert tonight for more danger. Dante’s POVWe pulled into the parking lot and found a spot right next to Luis's Jeep. Rashaad and Akira arrived soon after. I opened Angel's door as Jasmine ran over to us. Dante's POV It had been a week since Dad and the Elders were killed. Every day that passed, the pain in my chest lessened a little, but the guilt very much overpowered the grief. I had to live the rest of life knowing that I was the reason he was killed. Not only was I being irresponsible when it happened, Jett seemed to target him because of me. Jasmine took his death harder than I did, but Mom hadn't been out of bed since she felt it happen.
