“You need to calm down. You are going to ruin all the hard work I have done.” Lucy complained as she tried for the tenth time to pin my hair up.
It wasn’t like I wanted to be a nervous wreck, I just couldn’t sit still. My hands were sweaty, my pulse was racing and I have listened to Hunter complain in my head that I was driving him mad with the constant jittering. I had to block him off because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t calm myself.
I knew the ceremony was just a formality, but the moment I step into the role of the official Luna, how long would it take for me to screw it up? I wasn’t born into this life, it was forced onto me in barely and I haven’t even had two months to find my footing as a Luna.
I knew what was expected of me and I had no problem putting in the work, but what if I end up destroying the pack? Couldn’t they find someone else to be the Luna? I could just sit quietly

Kyra-Thankfully all of that was finally over. I didn’t think I would make it through the entire process until I had repeated the Oath to become the official Luna of Night Blaze.
