Willow

A distraction. He was trying to stop me from jumping. Dragging me in with his stupid questions. Of course I haven’t figured it out, I wouldn’t have asked him otherwise.

I edge forwards, holding on to the window frame as the broken glass slices the soles of my feet.

“Willow! Don’t test me.” The words come out in a low growl.

I glance back at his onyx eyes. Looking into the black holes that stare back at me. He was showing his anger. He wanted me to see it. A warning that if I do anything stupid, a punishment was coming my way. Being here was already punishment enough.

“Get your ass down, NOW!” His patience is running thin.

I turn in the window to face him properly. Purposely letting the glass pierce my feet. My warm blood slowly drips from my feet, spreading out all along the windowsill.

His eyes move down to my injured feet. I watch him shake his head as he steps to me. Grabbing my hips, he lifts me like I’m nothing more than a feather. Carrying me to the bed, he sits me
