**Clair's POV***

I watched the moonlight from the little window inside the room I was confined to.

My hands and feet were free of chains now, but that doesn't make me a free person.

I was still under close watch by Theo. My life was a dark pit, and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to see the light of day. This is over a week now ever since I had been brought in here.

I thought Roxanne would visit me and yell at me like she always did, but strangely, she never came and that made me wonder what she was actually up to this time.
