I paced from one end of my office to the next. I was worried sick about what I had said earlier.

“Alpha Cannon, you shouldn't stop pacing for crying out loud. I'm beginning to feel extremely dizzy right now, you know. Please, calm down and let me think.”

“No, you don't understand, Andrew. You know for a fact that Clair isn't someone who will back down from something like this.”
