We reached camp a little under ten minutes but Zed's condition had already worsened by then; the guy was barely conscious and was loosing a worrying amount of blood. Didn't have to explain anything to the old hag when we arrived though, she didn't waste her time asking questions and immediately started treating his wound. Zak didn't even bother dressing back up and ran up to help her.
But of course, as soon as he noticed, Cade walked up to me with a furious look in his eyes. "Where's Ava?"
Even though I heard his question, I didn't bother to answer while I focused slipping my pants back on. Yet blondie was a persistent little shit and wouldn't let me go without answering his question.
"Where is she!?
- She was taken." I bluntly responded as I took my place near the recently started fire. I only replied cause I knew he wouldn't let me go until he was satisfied.

My wrist burnt with irritation but I ignored the pain and continued my attempts to cut or loosen the ropes. I've been at it for at least one or two hours, to the point I was certain my skin was cut deep enough to draw blood. Dammit, these guys really know how to tie a good knot. The bloody thing barely budged since I've started. My arms were tired, and my neck was getting soar, but I had no choice to keep trying, otherwise I'd end up as a random guy's slave for the rest of my life. That is, if he doesn't kill me on the spot first. I continued to wear down the ropes while they cut deeper in my wrists. I shot my eyes open. My vision was foggy, and I thought my head was about to explode. I was assaulted by the worse migraine, and I couldn't remember anything as recent as a few minutes ago, or at least, how I got here. I could tell by the foliage alone that I was in a deeper end of the forest, a part which was practically untouched by humans. In other words, I was VERY far from camp. Every inch of my skin burnt, irritated, as if it had been stretched to its limits, but I couldn't see any physical scars or sign of injury anywhere. Even my jaw was painful, especially around the gums, like some sharp object had pierced through them. I wasn't drunk, nor under any kind of drug... so what the hell's wrong with me? I couldn't place my finger on it... besides, I was too exhausted to think straight and that migraine was driving me crazy. That's when I realized I had no clothes on and desperately needed something to change in. Too bad my extras are back at camp...

Everything happened so fast, it took me a few seconds to process what my eyes were seeing. In the span of a second, Jace pinned the elf to a tree, holding him above ground by the neck with an iron fist. I gasped and brought my hands to my mouth. "Jace!! Zed turned his pale blue pools towards me, rubbing the back of his head while displaying a sheepish smile. "What was all that about? What exactly were you two talking of?" My mind was too occupied by Kira's words to acknowledge Zed's question at first, which must've made him concern as I felt his hand gently touch my shoulder. I gazed up and my almond eyes met his pale blue irises. I unwillingly wrapped around my arms around my chest to protect myself and I sat down while Zed did the same. He didn't even avert his gaze from me. I absentmindedly brushed my hands against my arms, as I felt stupid for what I was about to tell him. "Why didn't no one tell me? Directly...?" Even though my eyes were glued to the ground, I could tell he was confused. I corrected my question. "'I'm... the Alpha female..."
