I am standing in front of Alpha Xavier, my skin crawling with nerves. I know why he called me over now. Lola complained about me to the elders, so I was here to be punished for my behavior. This time, I can't even blame anyone but myself.

"Sylvia," he says. "Do you know why I called you here?"

"No, Alpha. She is telling the truth. I attacked her and injured her badly," I confess.
