Chapter 55

With a heavy heart, I wasted no time and ran back to my parents' house. As soon as I opened the door, I could feel the tension in the air.

"Victoria, what happened? Why do you look like this?" my mother said in a worried tone.

I tried my best to keep my tears at bay, but I could feel them spilling out of my eyes. My dad had just walked in when he noticed my distress. He rushed to my side and took my hand in his.

"Victoria, what is going on? Is everything okay with Alpha Gabriel?" he asked.

At the mere mention of Alpha Gabriel's name, I could feel my heart sink. Tears streamed down my face as I couldn't hold them in anymore. I shook my head and said, "Everything is not okay, mom and dad. Alpha Gabriel is a jerk!"

My dad looked at me with concern, and my mother's face was filled with sadness. I told them everything that had happened, how I caught Alpha Gabriel cheating on me with another woman, and he said he wanted to keep a mistress by his side.
