Chapter 1: The Transferee

It is a fine sunny Monday when I arrived at Aphlaver's town. I never know what's with this town, but the name hook my attention which made me to stop. This is far away from the place where I came from, a perfect place for me to start a new life. Holding my luggage, I stepped out from the car. I smile and walk along the street. I can now say that I’m free from pressures. No one will control my moves like I’m a robbot.

I look around and try finding a new shelter. I only want a simple house that will suit to my budget. This time, I need to live by my own. I headed to the apartment and knock on the door. A young lady let me in, and called the land lady. She is younger than me, I think. She keeps on looking at me but i keep avoiding her eyes.

"She'll be coming here!" The lady said and smiled at me. I didn't like the way she smile at me that's why I didn't smiled back. I know that kind of smile. I can;t tell but I feel something on her.

With my fierce look, I nodded at her and fixated my look on the floor. I don't want to talk to her anymore. I am here to live alone and continue my life without getting in touch to anyone. I turn my head to the young lady standing a meter away from me. I can hear her mumured.

"Good morning! Welcome to my apartment. Your arrival is very surprising, I never thought someone will come here early these Morning!" The land lady welcomed me. "By the way, this is Vivian, she'll be your boardmate," the land lady introduced the young lady to me.

I look at their faces and I nodded. The both of them was confused to what I did. They couldn't see any reaction from my face, because I trained myself not to show my emotions because people where take advantage of it.

I walk to the room the landlady pointed. This room isn’t big but it will suit the two of us. There are two beds, 1 bathroom, 1 dresser table and 2 walk-in closet at the right side. The windows are like crystal clear, and it’s obvious that Vivian always manage to clean it day by day.

"Are you still studying? You go with me tonight, I'll show you my school!" Vivian entered and talk to me. I look at her and didn’t answer her question.

Normal school aren’t having classes at night, am I right? But, her school offers a night class? I became curious about what she mentioned but I can’t ask her more about it. I want to figure things by my own.

"How old are you? Can you talk?" Vivian asked me again.

I faced my gallurous boardmate. "Yes," I utters and continue arranging my clothes on the cabinet. I know she won’t stop talking at me if i will not answer her unending question.

Her voice reminds me of my best friend before. She very nice, sweet and caring not until she discover that I have no wolf. She distance herself from me, maybe she’s afraid to be bullied like what our schoolmates alaways did. I’m sick of thinking about them. If I will be given a chance to meet them again, I’ll make sure they’ll regret of what they did to me.

I can’t understand why I’m wolfless. My father is a Beta, and my mom is the Alpha’s daughter, how can their daughter haven’t her wolf? I shokemy head to was my thoughts.

"Yes? After all, the answer is only yes? Oh come on! I'm thankful that finally I have a roommate now!" Vivian jumped on my bed which made my brows arched.

I hate gallurous people! I let a deep sigh and tried to calm myself. If i will be staying here with this lady, i can’y imaginethe peace I am chasing. She’s so noisy and it’s annoying. I used to be alone, i’m a loner werwolf at all. No one dares to befriended by me. Everyonw hates me and treated me a big disgrace to our pack, especially to my father.

"Don't disturb me. I don't want to talk with anyone," I coldly said while glaring at her.

It seems Vivian was threatened on what I did. She nodded and bow her head towards me. "I'm sorry, I just want you to be my friend," Vivian utter.

"I don't want friends."

Friends will leave me once they discover my secret. I don’t want to repeat my mistakes. After that, I went out from the room and get some of my things at the living room. I have suitcase that contains all my important things. I don’t have a lot of clothes sincethen, I only have few but I treasure them since my mom gaveit to me when she’s still alive.

"Want me to help you?" From my back, Vivian asked. I only shook my head as a response.

"If you need help, just call me. I'll be going to the kitchen to prepare our lunch," said Vivian with a wide smile on her lips.

As usual, I nodded again and shut the door of our room. I lay my back on my bed and fixated my look at the ceiling. "I can't still believe that I will be thrown away from our pack. But the hell I care! I am used to be like this!" I murmured while clenching my fists in anger.

I thought my father will defend me, but he’s the one who shunned me away from our pack. He is up to his reputation and forget that I am his daughter. It hurts of course. Being shunned by my own father is the worst thing happened to me.

"Can I get in?" From the outside, Vivian knock and didn't enter without asking permission. She’s polite, and know how to respect my rules.

"Yes," I replied and sit properly. I watch her walking in while carrying a tray of foods.

"Let's eat as early as now. We will be going to our school early so that you can fill the enrollment form." With the tray on her hands, she speak to me.

Isn’t that early? I used to go to our school before at 9:00 am but dissmised at 5:00 pm. I am attending morning classes because I feel weak at night. I don’t know if it’s still normal feeling this way for a werewolf like me. Maybe I’m right, I’m not a werewolf but a gifted human instead.

"I'm a 4th year college student," I said while looking outside the window. I break the silence because I can feel that Vivian is said for my bad treatment on her.

"That's good! I'm also a 4th year student!" Vivian happily said. She’s cheerful not like me. We are completely different.

"Let's eat!" Vivian get the food and lay to ou table beside my bed.

I look at her carefully. She seems to be a normal person, she don't deserve me to be her friend. I am no one’s favorite and cursed. I smiled bitterly while eating. Their food are tasty than ours.

As the night came, Vivian lead our the way. We walk from our apartment. This place is sool but it’s not important to me anyway. While we are on our way to the said school, we heard two couples moaning loud at the dark side of the street. They are mating? I look at the moon and was shocked when I saw the bright full blue moon. They are probably mating. Wait... what? Mating? What the hell I’m thinking about. I’m not in our pack.

"Have you seen them?" Vivian asked me but I shook my head. I’m not interested to check it out. It’s their private life.

"This is the gate. Come on! " Vivian held my wrist and pulled me inside.

I look around and let the girl pulled me until we stop in front of a wooden door. "This is the enrollment office!" Vivian said and knock on the door

The room is quite big. I look around and scan the whole place. I can hear voices from the other sides. I heavethis ability of sensitive and sharp hearing. I can hear voices away from me. I can hear whisperes.

"Good evening, Miss. Patricia is a new comer, she'll be studying here from now on, " Vivian said to the staff and she let us in.

She look at me and raised an eyebrow. She looks like Hana the bitch. Hana is my bully teacher that always make fun of me during classses. Shame on her, she’s a professional but not using her manner.

"She's a late enrollee," the staff said while doubting if she will accept me or not. Well, she’s right. I’m one week late of enrolling since I wander around to find a perfect place for me, until I came here.

"She's my friend," Vivian simply said. She claimed me as her friend but actually we’re not.

"Okay, fill up this form, Miss Patricia," the staff said.

How did Vivian made this staff accept me? Tsk. Damn, I don't care. What important now is, I'm accepted! I immediately fill up the form and gave it back to the staff. Vivian talked with the staff for a while and then the staff smiled at me.

"You can now go to your class, Miss Patricia!" The staff get my form and Vivian pulled me out.

This girl is terrible. I can walk but here she is pulling me like a child! I am irritated of what Vivian is doing towards me. I really hates cheerful and noisy people. Especially that this is the first time I’m being treated like this. No one from my pack wants to be my friend, no one dares.

"For Pete's sake! Come here, they're fighting again!" Vivian step back when they saw boys fighting at the hallway.

Figthing like gangstaer. It’s common to me, I’m used into fights. I remember the day when boys bullied me and I fight back like a monster. I knoecked them down without getting tire. Unfortumnately, that’s my last day with the. After defending myself, dad pun ished me. I don’t regret anything. Loving myself is not wrong. If no oneloves me, then I will love my self.

"Where's our room?" I asked Vivian and she pointed the building. "Room 5," Vivian added.

I turn my gaze to the building she pointed. I walked fearlessly towards the boys that were fighting. When the boys notice me, they all stopped and praise my boldness and beauty. I can hear them whispering ang cussing like crazy. I didn’t stop even though I heard them calling and asking my name. I don't care about them, what I want now is to rest on my chair.

Soon, when I reach the building, I stopped in front of the of an iron door with a number 5 at the top of it. I gradually push the door in and step forward. All eyes was fixated on me when I enter the room.

"Who is she?" my classmates ask each one another.

"She is Patricia!" Vivian came while her sweat running down from her face. I offer her a tissue and she accpet it with a wide smile showing that she’s happy.

"She's my friend," Vivian added.

They all furrowed at us. Is it the first time that Vivian claim someone to be her friend? They seems shock about what she said.

"Everyone be seated!" The teacher came and they all sit straight while I was left standing. I walk to the vacant chair at the back. I choose the middle chair, since it’s like calling me. It’s the only chair that is unique.

"Hey, you move here!" Vivian called me but she ignored her. I can’t waste more energy to walk back to her.

"That's the sit of the Alpha!" Someone came and sit on the chair behind me. He gave me a poker face and then raised an eyebrow. This guy catches all attention and all of them are looking at us. Did i heard it clearly? He said this is the chair of the Alpha? No, don’t tell me... they were werewolves too? This is not good!

"Alpha?" I asked him and the he nodded. I pretended lik an innocent idiot girl.

"I am Luke, the Omega! " He boastful said but I laugh silently.

I’m aware about the role of an Omega. They are the babysitter of an Alpha and the lowest rank. I knew that, because I am from the Silver pack. But I didn't expect that the town I choose to live has werewolves where I want to distance with.

"Better move to the other sit, before he came, " Luke threatened me but I didn't react. I acted like I didn’t hear him and enjoy sitting on the chair of the said Alpha.

As our teacher dismissed us, sIe immediately left our room. I doesn't care if where Vivian is or she might look for me. I know she can go homeby her own. For now, I want to be alone.

"She's a new comer. She looks hot than the Sigma!" One guy said while playing his tongue.

"Let's play with her," the other one said.

"I'll taste her first," next guy said but I continue to walk.

I stopped and face the three men. When the other man tried to touch my face, a loud and scary voice stopped him.

"Stop it!"

“Alpha!” They called him. He is the Alpha? His appearance is completely the standard of being an Alpha’s. His eyes are addorable and it looks powerful. His muscles are seen through his thin shirt exposing his body. I don’t know where did he came and his wearing like that.

The Alpha quickly threw them away. I look at him. It's my first time seeing a handsome man like him, but it's not enough for me to praise him. I faked a smile and started walking away from the Alpha.

“Wait! What’s your name new comer? Are you a rogue? You’re new here!”
