Amelia's pov

As I paced before the rusted bars, my eyes glinted with cruel amusement. "Well, well, little mouse, you are still so bold despite being in here right?"

She stopped, her voice quivering with a mixture of fear and defiance. In her eyes was curiosity as she wondered what unwanted to do next.

"Leave me alone, Amelia. You have no right to keep me locked up like an animal. I didn't do anything wrong to you."

Her words ignited a flicker of rage in me so I lunged forward, my sharp claws scraping against the bars. "Silence, you wretched thing! You may be my stepsister, but you are nothing more than a hindrance to me."

Desperation gnawed at Leila's heart. "how Amelia? Why do you do this to me?" she pleaded.

I laughed, my laughter echoing through the clearing. The chilling sound sent shivers down Leila's spine. "Because, my dear sister, I need you. Your existence serves a purpose. a purpose that will ultimately lead to my triumph." I told her cheekily
