Chapter 93: Dawn

BAELA

I watched as the storm raged on pouring nonstop. I was far off the ground and could see the ground get wet before becoming slightly flooded. If I was anywhere near there I would have been soaked at my feet.

I would feel occasional touch of the rain as the wind blew tiny water droplets at me but other than that I was warm and dry. Aria light is still burning brightly, shielding me from the cold.

My roof was holding tight so far. I was lucky to have fashioned out a rope and tied down the branches I had above my head. It was taking away the rain from me.

I could lie down where I was and sleep and I would be firmly secured not to fall off the tree into the mud below. The shape of the branch was perfect for sitting or lying down but I chose to sit.

It was still too early to sleep as I was still in the afternoon but the sky above me remained dark. The sun had gone to hide behind the cloud concealing its beautiful colors I loved to see.
