Luciana's POV

Luciana woke up feeling really exhausted. It wasn't like she had worked too hard the day before, but she felt worried that someone might discover the letter exposing her difficult and ugly past.

She feared that Alister might already have the letter in his possession, which would be the worst thing ever. How the hell was she supposed to explain the letter in her possession.

Looking at the man sleeping next to her, she noticed him snoring gently. She shook her head, realizing that he seemed tired too, and he could sense that something was bothering her. The tension was building up inside her.

Trying not to disturb him, Luciana got out of bed and quietly left the room. As she walked down the hallway, she stopped by her children's room to wake them up. They had an appointment with Wilson that morning, so she needed them to get ready.
