Someone bumped into Scarlett's back just after she threatened to keep me away from Alpha Cedric.
We stared and gasped, while her face paled when she saw the person who bumped into her back.
"Doctor Gordon!" she screamed as if she had just been tangled and hurt.
"Yes? Why did you call me?" Doctor Gordon's face was even and unthreatening. But I was sure Scarlett was smart enough to realize how mysterious Doctor Gordon was. Even with a face as old as that, he could have stored a million pieces of knowledge that could explode if he wanted to talk about it.
