Chapter 6

The following morning, Scarlett woke up and got ready for work again. She fixed her lenses and made sure the black dye on her hair wasn't fading out in any part. The last thing she wanted was making people look at her with irritating eyes, like people from her pack did.

Done, she exited the house, a lot earlier than the previous day. She intentionally finished early becuase she planned on visiting someone, or somewhere.

She took a cab and soon arrived at the witch's store which was by the side of the road. She's visited a lot of stores for this same reason, but some weeks ago, she heard news that this particular witch was very experienced.

She got off the cab and proceeded into the store. An intoxicating blend of herbs, flowers and so many potions engulfed the air and filtered into her nostrils the moment she crossed the threshold. She could never get used to this smell.

It was a small store. Looking around, she found potions upon potions, so many herbs and leaves mounted on each othe
