“What were you doing walking alone at night?” He took a step closer to me and folded his arms across his broad chest.

“Why does it matter?” I muttered in disgust, trying to act like I could not stand his possessive questions.

“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because we are at war with a superior species of hybrids that roam the woods at night.” His snarled and took another step closer to me, so that we were only a few feet apart.

“You can’t even shift. You would never be able to put up a fight against anything!” I knew he was losing his tempter, and fast.
