The next morning, I am awoken by the bright sunshine streaming through the window. The window who’s curtains I forgot to close. But that’s okay, I love the early mornings. Every new day is an opportunity to learn. I jump out of the bed and walk to the window. Looking down, I see Alpha Cain and his warriors beginning to run out front of the packhouse. I guess they’re getting ready to train.

I go to the bathroom and do my business. I see a fresh toothbrush and toothpaste on the counter. I guess someone left this before I came to bed last night. I roll my eyes, but I’ll brush. I didn’t think about it last night, but I know Mama will be upset if I don’t take care of myself while I’m away from her. So, I make a mental note to be sure to do it at least twice a day.

I open the bedroom door and yes, my personal guard is there. Although this one is different than the one yesterday. He turns and hands me a small stack of clothing in his hands. “Alpha Cain has asked for you to join him out
