ROSE We exit the hospital and there are 3 big, black SUVs parked in the semi-circle drive, waiting on us. Justin wheels me up to the rear passenger side of the middle SUV and opens the door. ROSE We clean up from lunch and I decide to take a look at my new living space. I’m already familiar with the main areas. The apartment is an open concept, three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit. It is quite big, and I remember hearing that Patty had the entire unit renovated about 10 years ago. It has large floor to ceiling windows across the back of the building that bring in a flood of natural light to the open living, dining, and kitchen spaces. A large stonework fireplace is nestled in the corner of the living room, and it is currently roaring and pumping out the much-needed warmth.
